6 people and pickleball companies to connect with in 2021
Our annual list of who to follow or connect with in pickleball is here! As the sport grows, so does the people and companies promoting and sharing their love of the sport.
The Pickler – started by Stacie Townsend, a former professional fastpitch softball player 3 years ago after discovering pickleball by playing with her parents. Her website covers the basics of the sport, pages of blogs, a book discussing the mental aspects of the sport and apparel. Her Facebook page has over 9,500 followers that engages her followers with their thoughts and experience playing pickleball.
Pro Pickleball Association – The PPA is the tour the top professional play in. The 2021 schedule has over 14 tournaments on its docket with over $1 million in total payout. Lucy Kovalova – Currently the #2 ranked Women’s Doubles player and the #3 Women’s Mixed Doubles player. Lucy’s Instagram page has over 2,400 followers and show pictures from her tournament victories, her travels and life at home. An Onix, Jigsaw Health and Fila pickleball sponsored player, 2021 should be an amazing year for her.
Rocky Mountain Pickleball – Back after canceling their 2020 tournament, the 2021 tournament will be bigger and better than ever. Registration for this year’s tournament opened on February 5th for the Denver championships August 11-16. The top pros will be there this year including Ben Johns, Scott Moore, Lucy Kovalova, Jay Devilliers, Kyle Yates and many more. They support the “Give a Paddle Campaign” which encourages players to donate their previous paddle which are given to several youth organizations. RM Pickleball also hosts The Steamboat Classic, July 9-11 and the New Mexico Open, September 3-6.
Amy Olson – Professional golfer on the LPGA Tour and self-described best pickleball player on the LPGA tour. She’s currently the #40 Rolex ranked player on the tour with 12 career top 10 victories. Amy’s Twitter page shows her on the golf course and pickleball courts as she travels the world. Whether she’s at home in North Dakota or training in Palm Springs, she always finds time to compete with other golfers playing pickleball.
Pink Pickleball – “A pickleball blog for everybody that loves pickleball” is something we can all get behind. With a great name, their website covers pickleball tips, strategies, and product reviews.

6 people and pickleball companies to connect with in 2020
Oh Yeah!! It’s that time of year when the snow starts to melt, or it’s 600 instead of 500 and we get excited to play outside whenever we want! It’s also that time of year when we roll out who we should be checking out in pickleball in 2020.
Congrats to all of those that participated in the 2019 Margaritaville USA Pickleball National Championships at Indian Wells Tennis Garden. There were over 2,200 players vying for the $80,000 tournament prize purse. Check out Pickleball Tournaments for a list of the medal winners.
